39 is located near BTS Saphan Khwai station in Phayathai. It is a sauna mostly frequented by local Thai gay people, with visitors starting to arrive from 1 pm onwards during the day. The majority of patrons are locals and it’s the only sauna in Bangkok that is crowded during the daytime. Most Thai guys who come to 39 are very friendly and direct, with larger dick sizes and polite manners, unlike other saunas where there are many Chinese patrons who tend to be “high-class” or “arrogant queens”. The downside is that the environment at 39 is average!
The quality of 39 has declined as prices have risen; fewer young people visit, especially after the price increased to 200 baht. In the evening, there are very few young visitors; most are middle-aged. Only around three or four o’clock in the afternoon will there be a wave of young Thai guys.

Travel Tips:Getting off at Saphan Kwai station via BTS and walking back about100 meters from Exit No.1 downstairs will lead you to a conspicuous sign on your right indicating ’39 Underground Sauna’.
Next door is the famous Bangkok Rainbow Cinema – look for bright lights on your right which indicate ’39 Sauna’, while on your left nearby is a theater. If curious enough, you can go see for yourself but take care of your belongings as it’s quite dark inside with lots of coming and going – it’s best not to carry too much cash or wear jewelry or watches.
