Screw Boy Bar is located in a small alley off Patpong 2, near the Patpong Night Market on Silom Road. This area, known as “Bangkok’s Boy Street,” features various GOGO bars. Screw Boy Bar can be found on the left side, directly across from Fresh Boys, but it doesn’t have a very prominent sign.
The performances at Screw Boy Bar are similar to those at other bars on Bangkok’s Boy Street, starting at 11 PM. The shows include drag performances, ladyboy acts, neon shows, and a banana show, interspersed with GOGO boy runway walks. On weekends and holidays, there’s a special event: a GOGO boy beauty pageant. While this event is more for fun and spectacle rather than showcasing exceptional talent, it’s still worth checking out for the lively atmosphere. However, it’s not particularly recommended to spend money on tips, as the quality isn’t outstanding.
The bar’s environment and quality are average, with many performers being middle-aged drag artists. Most of the GOGO boys come from other Southeast Asian countries, with fewer Thai locals, and many have a tattooed, Southeast Asian aesthetic. The quality of the GOGO boys can vary, sometimes being mediocre, but occasionally, you might find some exceptional performers—it’s all up to luck.
